G.R.O.W. groups are an essential part of our church’s 4-word approach to church life and ministry: Connect, Grow, Serve, and Go.  G.R.O.W.  groups are designed to provide a friendly, fun, and nurturing environment for spiritual growth and discipleship.

The word G.R.O.W. is used as an acrostic. The primary purpose is to Grow deeper in our relationship with God. The term “righteousness” is defined as Right-living, and when joined with a desire to live in Obedience to the principles given to us in God’s Word, we grow in godly Wisdom, becoming more Christ-like in character and conduct.

G.R.O.W. groups are for adults of all ages, and meet on-campus on Wednesday evenings @6:00 and Sunday afternoons @4:30 in conjunction with the other age-specific ministries of our church (RAs, GAs, Mission Friends, and Middle and High School Student Ministry).

For those who provide leadership in the aforementioned ministries, participate in the Adult Prayer Meeting, sing in the choir, or can not regularly attend on Wednesday evenings, we will offer duplication of selected studies on Sunday evenings (during PreCrew, FirstCrew, student praise band rehearsal). Childcare for infants to 2 years old is available by advance request.

G.R.O.W. groups fluctuate in topic and number of weeks per session, but all will coincide with the church’s overall calendar. Each session is 90 minutes in length to ensure quality coverage of materials while still providing opportunity for answering questions, fellowship, and prayer.

G.R.O.W. group leaders function as facilitators, and play a vital role in guiding group discussion, encouraging participation, providing any needed additional resources, and helping members to apply Biblical principles to real-life situations to enable personal transformation and maturity.
