There are several features in our mobile app, but not everything is as obvious as it seems! Some of the best conveniences and most powerful ministries of this great resource are just below the surface. Listed below are most of the tabs that you can find within our mobile app and the best uses for each.
Home
The home screen serves as an aggregate of the entire app, collecting the most recent additions from blogs and social media to a timeline. Also note that the three dots at the top of the timeline bring up more options.

An obvious use of the app is being up-to-date with our church calendar. From this tab at the bottom of the screen, you can see every event from the day prior to months in advance.

The Prayer Wall
Certainly, the most powerful ministry tool of this app is the ability to share our prayer concerns over this mobile forum! Killeen has a specific need for connectivity that other metro areas do not have due to deployments and constant PCS seasons. Here, you will find it! Please take a moment to leave a prayer request by pressing “Add” in the top right hand corner of this tab or update an existing request by leaving a comment under a previous one.
Read Scripture
If you are looking for a great Bible to read on your device, we suggest downloading the FREE YouVersion app. This is absolutely the most popular and complete Bible reading app on the market with over 120 million downloads! Another great resource is Olive Tree’s free app with library marketplace where you can find more versions and Christian books to read from their platform. Olive Tree’s powerful note-taking features and bookmarks make you feel like you are really carrying your own paper Bible with you everywhere you go!
However, if you do not want to download either of these, there is a link to YouVersion within our app in the “Bible” portion of the MORE tab where you can read the entirety of Scripture in nearly every version.
Give Online
We are happy to offer our members the freedom to give their offerings online. Note that you will be directed out of the FBC Killeen app to a secure site through your device’s default internet browser and our online giving provider.
Please also note that the link within our app is ONLY for members as you will need a registered email address on file in the church office. For guest offerings, please visit our church website at fbckilleen.com and navigate to the online giving page.
